VibeTunes is an offline-first music player. We do not require an account or internet connection to use the app.

We may collect the following limited data:

• Device permissions: Audio file access to read music stored on your device.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data such as feature usage and crash reports to help us improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

Any data we collect is used strictly to:

• Provide and improve the VibeTunes experience
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• Understand which features are most loved

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties. Ever.

3. Your Music & Local Files

Your music library stays entirely on your device. VibeTunes reads audio files only to play them — we do not upload, back up, or transmit your files anywhere. Your playlists, favourites, and listening history are stored locally and are never shared.

4. Third-Party Services

VibeTunes may use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting.
• Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates.

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not share personally identifiable information with any of these services.

5. Data Storage & Security

All app data — including your playlists, favourites, play history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

6. Children's Privacy

VibeTunes does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights

Since VibeTunes stores all data locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete data: Clear the app's data in your device settings at any time.
• Revoke permissions: Withdraw audio access in your device settings — though this will prevent the app from playing music.
• Opt out of analytics: You can disable anonymous crash reporting in Settings → Privacy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and notify you through an in-app notice. Continued use of VibeTunes after changes means you accept the updated policy.
